Java Script Debugger - Script Debugger IDE 1.6.0.0 by Stas Semenov
|
Script Debugger IDE is a development platform for building custom business solutions and full-featured client and server scripts debugger. Script Debugger IDE enhances and extends the features that make it possible for developers to build custom solutions with their applications. The integrated development environment exists outside the host application window. This enables developers to write code in Script Debugger IDE and simultaneously view the results of their programming in the host application. Although the IDE exists outside the application window, it runs in the same memory space as its host, thereby benefiting from tight integration for event handling, as well as enhanced performance. Script Debugger IDE provides developers with a robust set of tools for developing Web applications. With Script Debugger IDE, developers can set breakpoints on both client- and server-side script, step through code, add "watch" variables, investigate the call stack, and debug remote Web servers. The Script Debugger IDE also provides the following: Editor with syntax checking, color-coded syntax, and support for code drag-and-drop. IntelliSense features for instant syntax reference and object model assistance to reduce programming time. Powerful Forms Designer with built-in ActiveX Controls. Project Explorer for navigating the project components. Properties window for setting and viewing object properties. Debugging tools to help track script (program) execution and find bugs. Object Browser for browsing and searching for properties and methods across object model libraries. Full-featured CSS Rule Editor. Built-in Hex Editor. Built-in Web-documents Viewer. ...and much more. |

- TEXT EDITOR: Script Debugger IDE has the powerful text editor with syntax highlight for various types of files and IntelliSense features. There is an editing and debugging of a program code in it. The text editor is equipped with convenient system of bookmarks that allow quickly moving during editing under the document in the necessary place; technology Drag and Drop (dragging and inserting of the allocated fragment of the text with the mouse) is also supported.
- HEX EDITOR: As the text editor does not allow opening binary files correctly, Script Debugger IDE has built-in Hex Editor. Presence of the hexadecimal editor allows looking through and modifying any files.
- FORMS DESIGNER: Forms designer is powerful tool for user interface creation. It enables the developer to create custom dialog boxes. Designer, developers learn how to create custom dialog boxes only one way for all applications, and custom dialog boxes designed in one application can be shared with another. Forms support the architecture for the next generation of ActiveX Controls and provide the following benefits: 1) Superior performance (for example, reduced time to save, load, or redraw) when compared to today's windowed controls, 2) Advanced features for forms design, including alignment and layout tools, drag-and-drop of controls, and 3) a broad set of controls, including all the standard interface controls.
- WEB-DOCUMENTS VIEWER: Script Debugger IDE has a built-in Web Browser, giving an opportunity to browse any Internet document. The navigation panel allows quickly moving from one page on another.
- OBJECT BROWSER: The Script debugger IDE has an improved Object Browser. The browser shows return types of functions, parameter names and types, and constants. Hyperlink jumps to referenced objects enable easy navigation of the object hierarchy. Object Browser has the ability to search for objects and members across type libraries. Object Browser is used for object model viewing of any COM-application registered in system. The window is subdivided into three parts. All COM-classes, types and enums displayed at the left, methods, properties and elements of enums displayed at the right. All information available about them displayed below.
- WEB DESIGN TOOLS: For editing cascading style sheets (a set of additional tags that describe the appearance of individual HTML tags) the special editor is built-in. The style sheet tags describe the font, color, paragraph alignment, and other attributes for common HTML tags such as headings, paragraphs, and lists. These tags can exist within document or as a separate text file. For Web-pages creation there are built-in HTML-tables generator, window of choice for insert ActiveX Components, advanced Color Select dialog and other tools for rapid development. Patterns, text formatting and sets of special symbols make work with the editor easy even to nonprofessional users.
- FILE BROWSER: Special built-in File Browser allows you to quickly navigate over the local disks and network. Mouse double-click or drag-and-drop opens file for editing in IDE.
- TEMPLATES: Special customizing templates increase the working productivity by saving reusable code and allow avoiding of syntax errors. Patterns are stored in textual kind and may be transferred from one computer on another.
- OPTIONS & CUSTOMIZING: Options dialog allows you to adjust font settings and syntax colorize. Current version of Text Editor supports only monospaced fonts. Customize dialog is used for customized menus, toolbars, user defined tools (quick run for Notepad, Windows Explorer, etc.), keyboard accelerators.
- DEBUGGING HTML & ASP PAGES: To display text, images, or links in a page, they should be formatted with HTML tags. However, to control the way a page behaves, there are scripts (programs) that embed in a Web page to perform specific functions. There are two types of scripts: client and server. Client scripts are part of a page, and are sent to and run by the browser when a user requests the page. Server scripts are also part of a page, but are not sent to the browser. Instead, they are run by IIS after the page is requested but before it is passed to the browser. When the page is sent to the browser, the server has already run the server script and removed it from the page. Script Debugger IDE allows debugging both types of scripts and supports remotely debugging for server scripts running in ASP pages on Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS). (To debug server scripts IIS should be configured for debugging.)
- DEBUGGING WSH FILES: Script Debugger IDE is the first standalone WSH editor and debugger. To debug any kind of Window Script Host files, all you need to do is to open script file and press Run button. After debugging process began, there is an opportunity to add breakpoints, to watch variables, step into procedures, etc.
